Abstract

The invention relates to a solid-state imaging device which is capable of improving SNR and performing lens shading correction. An exposure time calculating part (14A) limits an exposure curve which indicates the realteionship between the reset timing controlling the exposure period of pixels and the vertical lines to a predetermined curve and can calculate the exposure period of the pexels such that shading of a CMOS sensor (11) can be corrected within the limitation. A gain information calculating unit (14B) calculates the digital gain such that the difference is compensated for between the exposure gain obtained on the basis of the exposure curve and the ideal gain indicated by the ideal curve. A number-of-line-steps setting unit (14C) can set the number of the line steps for the exposure curve such that number of vertical lines is redued in such a manner that the reset timings obtained by the exposure curve indicating the realteionship between the reset timing controlling the exposure period of pixels and the vertical lines match.
